Burials at Sea
RIPTIDE SPORTFISHING is licensed by the State of California to scatter ashes at sea. We provide this service for those who wish to have a loved one's ashes scattered on the ocean. We can carry up to 20 passengers. Arrangements can be made for clergy, flowers or other wishes of the family. 

Basic Scattering: $250
The basic scattering provides you with the exclusive use of the RIPTIDE for you and your guests (up to 20 passengers total) for one hour. There is a $2.50 per person harbor charge for everyone aboard the vessel.

We only take one group at a time. Being on time is critical for all concerned.
Late fees are $20 per every 10 minuets!!

Multiple Scatterings: $50
The additional cost for more than one cremation (husband & wife) on the same trip. For covering the additional paperwork.

Unaccompanied Scattering:  
We now offer to receive your loved ones cremains by mail and can scatter them for you. The basic cost for this is $50 per individual.
This can be documented with a picture for you as well as the purchase of flowers. Please inquire for these special services.

For loved ones who are cremated outside of the State of California, it is necessary for us to obtain a Disposition Permit. Please contact us for details on obtaining this permit before mailing cremains to us. 

Shipping of Cremains:
We can receive the ashes of a loved one for you and bring to the boat. The cost for this service is $25 Per Individual.
